Description
Literature

Coffee pot produced by Johan Bergengren in Kristianstad, 1764. The pot is one of the best known Swedish silver coffee pots from the Rococo. It has even been depicted on a stamp. The pot was made in silver, using a circular plate that was chiselled upwards and given its ridges. The foot, spout and the black-stained wooden handle were then soldered on. The knob on the lid is shaped like a flower.
