The tapestry is made from a white cotton warp, carpet warp and weft of wool yarn in several colors. The yarn is dyed by Ulla Magnusson herself. In the lower right corner is an embroidered signature, U.M., of red wool. On the back are the numbers 86 embroidered with white stitching and a white marking band with the full name woven in red, edged with brown and gray cotton cord.
