Scenic wallcovering "The Battle of Heliopolis", produced by the Charles et R. Velay company, Paris. The wallcovering depicts the French army that defeated the Turks under General Kleber’s command on the plains at Heliopolis in Egypt, 1800. The entire motif is 30 panels, 53 cm wide. The museum has a large wall with nine panels and six smaller fragments from this wallcover.
